Some feral geese saved, but others will have to be culled

A boom in the number of wild geese stalking the grounds of Auckland's Western Springs has ruffled feathers at the local council, with a cull of the birds now on the cards. But as Nita Blake-Persen reports, Aucklanders keen to save the birds from the chop have offered up new homes - with dozens of birds likely to be saved.
