Bridges deals with fallout of ‘Chinese’ ‘Indian’ comments

National Party leader Simon Bridges says he's confident his "friends" in the Indian Sikh community back him, will vote for his party in a Botany by-election, and want National back in government. Mr Bridges today described the dinner he had at Zhang Yikun's home as "convivial" and said there has never been any talk of hopes Mr Zhang's son would make his way into a National caucus, nor enter the party's 'candidate's school'.
