Cannabis cake poisoning caused by drug addiction, lawyer says

A lawyer for the man who poisoned nine of his colleagues with a cannabis-spiked Christmas cake has blamed his client's actions on long-term use of the drug. Graham Jones was jailed for 22 months in the North Shore District Court today.
