Old fashioned handmade dumplings delivered by cargo bicycle: growing up in Hong Kong she came from a dynasty of chefs excelling in Chinese cuisine. As a teenager she desired to be a wind surfer, however a fateful trip to New Zealand and the eventual lure of her mother’s homemade dumplings changed her destiny forever. From humble beginnings as a dishwasher to running her own bourgeoning business, she’s now known as the Dumpling Queen of Wellington. Lynda meets the entrepreneurial Vicky Ha of the House of Dumplings.
