Downside Story

The two-billion-strong Chinese audience is the Holy Grail for western filmmakers, but China is equally keen to reach outside her borders to the wider world, and an upcoming New Zealand film may be a key figure in that process. Simon Morris spoke to Michael Bennett and Maile Dougherty about their film Downside Story, which will be co-produced with a Chinese animation company.
