Today we start a new feature looking at famous criminal cases in New Zealand, both solved and unsolved. We are starting the series with murder of Olivia Hope and Ben Smart, teenagers who disappeared in the early hours of New Year's Day in 1988. Investigative journalist and author, Mike White, has covered this case and all its twists and turns for two decades. He speaks to Jesse about the case which still, to this day, polarises public opinion.
