On her way to New Zealand, she was told about the deaths of her husband and the other members of the expedition. .  Now Kathleen Scott's granddaughter, Zoe Young is making the same journey her grandmother did in 1913 to mark the 100th anniversary of the Terra Nova's return from Antacrtic with the news of  the doomed expedition to the South Pole.
