Hiko is the new word chosen to encompass Māori electronic music. This comes after discussions at community workshops for Māori and Pasifika artists earlier in the year, facilitated by Pulotu Underworld. Taite Music Prize-winner MOKOTRON joined Ellie and Corey in early June to discuss how the new definition came to be, Hiko’s bright future, and the artists' upcoming Glastonbury appearance.
