For New Zealand high school students, learning about the Pacific could be a possibility.
The Ministry of Education are proposing 'Pacific Studies' as a subject in the National Certificate of Education and Achievement, or NCEA.
Many have long wished for a curriculum that embraces the strong Pasifika backbone of values, beliefs and traditions.
