Fiji changing Covid-19 containment strategy to mitigation

From Pacific Waves

The Fiji government's Covid-19 response strategy has changed from containment to mitigation.

This comes as the country's case numbers grow and new clusters of infections emerge on the main island, Viti Levu.

The government says a majority of cases are from existing clusters with the fastest-growing at Lami Town near the capital Suva, and others at the hospital and the police force.

Christine Rovoi reports.
