Niue receives first Covid-19 vaccine doses

From Pacific Waves

Niue received its first delivery of Covid-19 vaccines on Tuesday local time.

Local health authorities say there are enough doses for 30 people with vaccinators and other key frontline staff to be the first to get their jabs.

The start of the vaccination also opens up the possibility of the island nation being next in line to join the travel bubble with Aotearoa after Australia and the Cook Islands.
