Calls to halt sandmining along Fiji's coastlines

From Pacific Waves

Most of the country's coastlines are already being eroded by the increasing frequency and intensity of extreme weather events brought on by climate change.

Which have become even more severe in the past two years.

Add to this the impacts of mining on the coast.
