Covid-19:PNG hoping for the best but preparing for the worst

The chief executive of Papua New Guinea's largest hospital, Port Moresby General, says they are preparing for a third wave of Covid-19 cases in the capital.

Case numbers around the country continue to rise by about a thousand a week on average.

But Paki Molumi says in the capital the rate of infection is down to about 5 to 6 percent.

Dr Molumi joins me now. So this is a significant drop to the high rates that forced you to suspend many of the normal services provided at the hospital earlier in the year doctor?
