Samoa court dismisses call for second election

From Pacific Waves

Samoa's Supreme Court has thrown out the Head of State's decision to call a second election, clearing the path for the newcomer FAST party to form a government.

The decision follows another ruling by the court earlier today which gave FAST an electoral majority after the addition of an un-elected extra women's seat was voided.

Our reporter Dominic Godfrey has been following developments, he joins me now. So what is the significance of todays rulings Dom?
