Kiribati govt reiterates commitment to repatriation program

From Pacific Waves

The government of Kiribati is calling on all of its citizens still stranded overseas to remain calm as it continues to work to repatriate them.

Starting in October last year 1400 iKiribati have been safely repatriated without importing Covid-19.

The bulk of them have come via Fiji but this is no longer viable given the ongoing community outbreak of the virus in that country.

In this of a two part series I am joined now by three members of the Kiribati repatriation taskforce, Mauri ministers welcome on Pacific Waves please go ahead and introduce yourselves.
