Call for new Samoa election to be challenged in court

From Pacific Waves

Tuesday night's edict by Samoa's head of state calling for fresh elections is set to be challenged in the courts by the newcomer political party seeking to form government.

The FAST party has been in a political deadlock with the incumbent HRPP government since last month's election.

FAST's leader says the Head of State acted unconstitutionally.

Dominic Godfrey reports.
