Next week Papua New Guinea parliamentarians are expected to debate a motion of no confidence in the government of James Marape.

The motion was first proffered back in February, but the government deferred that sitting until next week.

RNZ Pacific's Don Wiseman spoke to our PNG correspondent, Scott Waide, about the issues leading to the motion, and asked him if it was likely to go ahead as expected.
