The first Pacific Professor of Psychology at New Zealand's University of Otago says she wants more Pasifika to follow suit.
New Zealand-born Samoan Dr Siautu Alefaio has recently been appointed to the role and combines modern psychology with traditional Pacific Island knowledge, says she hopes more Pasifika will follow in her footsteps.
