Money earned on a large New Zealand asparagus farm is helping villagers in Vanuatu build more resilient homes and pay school fees.
A 60-strong team of ni-Vanuatu are in the thick of the asparagus harvest in a remote valley near the town of Taihape in the North Island.
RNZ's Country Life show host Sally Round paid them a visit.
