Preserving te reo Māori is front of mind for Ngā Tamariki Mānihera music group from Aotearoa New Zealand's far north.
The young members are homeschooled and prefer to speak in their mother tongue.
RNZ Pacific's Lydia Lewis caught up with them while they were in Rarotonga.
