In New Zealand a public survey conducted in South Auckland indicates well over half of its residents feel they are being directly affected by cost of living.
A total of 525 people participated in the Mood of South Auckland survey.
The predominately Pasifika area of Auckland has recorded low voter turnouts in the past.
The general election ends on October 14th.
RNZ Pacific's Finau Fonua spoke with one of the organisers of the survey, Sandra Kailahi.
