Documentary maker, Clive Porabou has been making films recording life and issues for Bougainvilleans for more than 25 years.
But recently his gear broke down and a group in Australia is trying to help him raise funds to replace it.
One of the first documentaries he worked on was the Coconut Revolution which detailed Bougainville's use of coconut oil to combat the blockade put in place by the Papua New Guinea government during the civil war.
Clive Porabou told RNZ Pacific's Don Wiseman about some of his other work.
