No let up in PNG's fuel shortage woes

Issues with the availability of fuel in Papua New Guinea don't appear to be easing.

It is the resuult of major fuel importer, Puma Energy, being limited in its access to foreign exchange.

Since the beginning of the year there have been intermittent shortages and an order last week from the country's police chief and pandemic controller, David Manning, that the central bank and Puma sort out their issues seems to have come to nothing.

RNZ Pacific's Don Wiseman asked PNG correspondent Scott Waide about the impact of the shortages on the ordinary people of PNG.
