Fiji's prime minister Sitiveni Rabuka was hosted at New Zealand parliament, meeting with prime minister Chris Hipkins and members of his cabinet as well as representatives from the opposition.
Strengthening economic ties was a major talking point for the Fijian leader while Hipkins went to great lengths to reiterate New Zealand's commitment to supporting Fiji and other Pacific island countries in their development aspirations.
