Pacific Waves for 21 February 2023

The leaders from the 18 forum members will meet on Thursday in Fiji to welcome Kiribati back into the fold, discuss the Suva agreement and mull over the implimentation of the 2050 development strategy for the Blue Pacific continent; A proposed tourism development that puts at risk one of Suva's last remaining mangrove areas looks unlikely to be approved by the Fiji Government; Pacific workers employed under New Zealand's recognised seasonal employer scheme are the stars of a recently launched mini-doco-series called Voices of the Pacific.
