Reviving tourism is a major item on the long list of tasks being inherited by Vanuatu's newly formed government.
The election of Vanuatu's new Prime Minister on Friday last week, brought an end to weeks of instability that saw the dissolution of the last parliament triggering last month's snap election.
The new government is now led by, Ishmael Kalsakau, the Union of Moderate Parties President, who was elected unopposed on Friday.
