The first ever all female deck crew aboard a tuna longliner set sail from Fiji this evening on a nine day fishing expedition making history for the industry the world over.
The milestone achievement has been reached through a collaboration between SeaQuest Fiji and the Pacific Islands Forum Fisheries Agency with a focus on opening career pathways and providing equal opportunities for women.
