In a watershed moment, leaders of the Pacific Islands Forum have agreed on way to prevent Micronesian countries from breaking up the premiere regional body.
The row came to a head in February last year over the selection of a candidate for the Forum's top job.
Micronesia was annoyed its candidate Gerald Zackios was overlooked in favour of the former Cook Islands prime minister Henry Puna.
