Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme's Director-General Kosi Latu is moving on after 13 years of working with SPREP.
He's been replaced by Fiji national Sefanaia Nawadra this week.
Mr Latu began as the SPREP Deputy Director-General in 2008, then came on board as Director-General in 2016.
He spoke to Eleisha Foon about his legacy and the challenges in protecting the pacific from climate change.
