In June Papua New Guineans go the polls for the five year national elections.
It is always a dramatic time, often violent, and will start and end dozens of political careers.
Michael Kabuni is a political scientist at the University of PNG and right now is completing his PHd at the Australian National University.
Don Wiseman caught up with him at the weekend to discuss some of the aspects of the poll.
