Pasifika peoples are being urged to get vaccinated against Covid-19 as people from the community make up almost half of the current Omicron cases in New Zealand.
Infection rates continue to break daily records, with the ministry of health reporting three-thousand, two hundred and ninety-seven new infections on Wednesday.
That's 451 more than Tuesday.
RNZ Pacific reporter Susana Suisuiki spoke with ministry's director of Pacific Health Gerardine Clifford-Lidstone and began by asking her what the latest figures were for Pasifika.
