From , 6:02 am on 9 December 2021

The World Wide Fund for nature says this year's meeting of the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission has concluded with very little progress made on important measures to manage and protect the world's most lucrative fishery.

The funds tuna programme manager for the region Bubba Cook says some marginal progress on tuna , crew welfare and shark conservation but overall the meeting ended in a status quo.

He spoke with Don Wiseman who started by asking him if it was a good meeting.
