Three now vying for Tonga prime ministership

From , 6:01 am on 7 December 2021

There had been hopes Tongan MPs would have sorted out who should be prime minister by now, but the selection process has been put back to the middle of next week.

This comes after the vote for the 17 People's Representatives and nine Nobles on November 18th.

Ever since there has been jostling among the MPs over who should take the role at the head of the government.

RNZ Pacific's Tonga correspondent Kalafi Moala brought Don Wiseman up to date with latest developments.
