Pacific negotiators united and ready to rumble in Glasgow

From , 6:02 am on 2 November 2021

Despite a diminished presence at the COP26 in Glasgow Pacific countries are presenting a united and coordinated front.

Helping to support the region's negotiating teams and representatives are the Council of Regional Organisations of the Pacific or CROP.

The lead for this important support base is, Tagaloa Cooper, the director of SPREP's climate change resilience program who says months of preparation has gone into presenting a united front at the global climate talks.

She joins me now, Kia ora Tagaloa, so  we know only leaders from Fiji, Palau and Tuvalu are attending? Which countries have had the most impact on their extended delegations being able to attend COP26? And why is that lack of a physical presence such a big issue?
