Palau is seeing a steady increase in visitors and settling into their new normal after health authorities exceeded their expectations for achieving herd immunity against Covid-19.
Palau began its vaccination drive in January aiming for 13,300 people but have exceeded that target with 14,300 people now full vaccinated against Covid-19.
Vaccination of adolescents aged 12-17 years old is also well under way with at least 65% now having taken at least one dose of the vaccine.
The ministry of health's liason for the mass vaccination campaign Gaafar Uherbelau joins me now.
Welcome Gaafar. So how is your vaccination rollout going?
