RSE exemption ‘insult' to NZ overstayers - migrant advocates

Migrant advocates say border exemptions for seasonal workers from the Pacific only add insult to injury for over-stayers in New Zealand.

The Government has decided to allow Recognised Seasonal Employer workers from Tonga, Samoa and Vanuatu to bypass MIQ.

While it's in the right direction, the Migrant Workers Association says the scheme is missing a crucial ingredient.
