Pressure is mounting on the Fijian government to impose a national lockdown amid the worsening Covid-19 crisis in the Pacific island nation.

More than 16-thousand people infected with the virus are in isolation - with a quarter of them sent home because there are not enough hospital beds.

The death toll has passed 160 including a 15 year old, two pregnant women and a 102-year-old among the dead.
