After two years of disruptions, the world's largest Pacific dance festival finally got underway in Auckland yesterday.
Last year Polyfest was cancelled because of the Covid-19 pandemic and the year before that it was cut short by the Christchurch terror attacks.
Dominic Godfrey attended the official opening.
