Push for Covid vaccines for kids amid debate over need for jab

An emerging debate about how critical it is that children be immunised against Covid-19 is taking front and centre in the fight against the deadly virus.

Worldwide, the rollout of vaccines has prioritised older people and others at risk because of their health or occupation.

But child advocates say governments should prioritise vulnerable children for a Covid-19 vaccine.

In New Zealand children won't be allowed the Pfizer/BioNTech jab and one immunisation expert says it's the right move, as Christine Rovoi reports.
