PNG provinces desperate for policing help

Papua New Guinea's police force is struggling to maintain law and order, as well as public trust, in a number of provinces.

It's adding to pressure on the national government to build the capacity of an under-resourced constabulary.

So much so that the prime minister has revealed his government could even revisit the controversial idea of Australian police coming over to assist PNG counterparts.
