How Covid-19 has affected the lives of Samoan women is the subject of new research being done by a Phd student at the University of Auckland's Pacific Studies department.

Sarah McLean-Orsborn says her own hardships during Covid-19 made her realise it must also be adversely affecting other Pasifika and Samoan women.

Ms McLean-Orsborn said finding ways to support women during the crisis is important.

She told Moera Tuilaepa-Taylor that as part of her research she is asking Samoan women to share their pandemic experiences through an online questionnaire.
