An Australian advocacy group says plans for an Australian company to mine coal in Papua New Guinea and then build that country's first coal fired power station should be stopped.
Jubilee Australia says coalmining is outdated, polluting and expensive, but Mayur Resources rejects this, saying it is offering PNG a cheap, reliable, failsafe power source.
