Vaccine diplomacy gains pace in the Pacific

The vaccines war in the Pacific is heating up.

This comes amid a claim by a Chinese state-owned company that runs a major mine in Papua New Guinea that it is trialing Covid-19 vaccines on its employees.

Meanwhile, other major partners in the region have been promising to ensure the Pacific nations get access to a Covid vaccine if and when it is available.
