Change expected in Samoa judiciary to avoid delays in justice

Change is coming in Samoa after condemnation in the Court of Appeal of lengthy delays in decisions by judges.

The Court of Appeal last week set aside a 2019 ruling by the former Chief Justice, Patu Tiava'asu'e Falefatu Sapolu, relating to a decades-old case, saying it was unsafe.
