Auckland cases dampen enthusiasm for Cook Islands bubble

The situation in Auckland means the chance of a Cook Islands travel bubble before the end of the year is now looking less likely. 

It comes just days after both the Cooks and New Zealand announced plans to reopen to each other within months - but there was a warning from the Cooks that that might come too late for hundreds of jobs. 

Liana Scott is the manager of the Muri Beach Club Hotel in Rarotonga and acting President of the Cook Islands Tourism Industry Council. 

She told Indira Stewart the outbreak is incredibly frustrating.
