For Pacific artists in New Zealand the question 'where are you from?' can result in conflicting responses.
One might respond with their suburb. Another may say the country where their parents migrated from.
Various responses are considered in an exhibition called Where You From by The Fresh One Collective in Auckland, ten artists of colour, including Pacific artists.
They bring a young contemporary approach on how they interact with gallery spaces that don't necessarily always represent them.
