Fiji govt targets growing drug threat

With half of Fiji's population experiencing extreme financial hardship due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, a drug crisis is the last thing the country needs.

There has been an increase in drug-related criminal cases in Fiji.

The government is warning that drug abuse - especially methamphetamine - is fast-becoming a public health issue - not only in Fiji but the Pacific.
