As the French Polynesian government prepares to reopen its borders, the territory's airline insists a Pacific travel bubble can be done safely.
From this week, flights between Tahiti and Paris have resumed, and in two weeks, French Polynesia will lift quarantine restrictions.
But those arriving will have to fulfill a number of requirements with health authorities..
The general manager, Pacific for Air Tahiti Nui, Danel Eggenberger, says he's confident this will safely keep Covid-19 out of the territory.
He told Jamie Tahana he hopes it could be an example for an eventual travel bubble with New Zealand have come to a standstill
