A free Facebook Messenger chat-bot sharing Covid-19 information is looking to expand into Pacific languages.
Ᾱmio was created by three New Zealand doctors and is currently in English and Mandarin.
One of the creators, Dr Canaan Aumua says Ᾱmio has already exchanged more than 250,000 messages since it launched in February, using information from the Ministry of Health and other official sources.
Dr Aumua told Sela Jane Hopgood the team are looking at exploring the , Tongan and Fijian first before moving to Cook Islands Māori and Pidgin.
