The Guam Fishermen's Co-operative is fighting a pending ban on fishing by scuba divers, who it says are being made scapegoats for Guam's depleted fish stocks.

A bill banning scuba fishing has passed the Guam legislature last week, but the governor has yet to sign it into law.

The co-operative's president, Manny Duenas, says there are only five scuba fisherman operating on Guam

Mr Duenas told Ben Robinson Drawbridge free diving fisherman support the ban but its them who are killing Guam's big fish.
